TOFU BREAKFAST SCRAMBLE

TOFU BREAKFAST SCRAMBLE Recipe
  
Ingredients
  • 1 box firm tofu
  • 1 zucchini, diced small
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste / Tomato paste if desired
Directions
  • 1. Spray pan with 100% olive oil spray
  • 2. Add all ingredients and fry until vegetables are soft and ready to eat.
  • 3. Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4. Serve with tomato paste

    With the Daniel fast YOU CAN’T HAVE FRIED FOOD!! I see fried foods on a lot of Daniel fast websites. You can’t have fried food, you can’t ‘drink’ soy, almond, rice milk. You can’t drink any fruit juices no matter how organic they are. You can only drink WATER. You’re not suppose to fry any foods non what so ever. You can have oil but you can’t fry anything.

    For those who have never been on this fast stay away from those websites that suggest you fry something or add any type of milk, or sugar to the fast. Smoothies aren’t considered Daniel friendly either because you’re drinking it.

    Fruits with no processed chemicals are allowed. Any bean or vegetable is allowed. Water is the only thing to be drank. If there’s something else that’s not considered a fruit or vegetable steer clear.

      Actually you are partially correct. The guidelines are for no deep fried foods. Sauteing vegetables in a small amount of oil has always been within the Daniel Fast Guidelines ever since they were developed decades ago.
